The rapid rise of Australian music sensation Jetty Road has been truly remarkable. Debuting in 2005, Jetty Road made an immediate impact within the music industry. Ray Hadley (2GB Sydney) predicts that their “meteoric rise” is set to continue.

Swept up in the whirlwind following the release of their debut single Run to You, Jetty Road’s fresh talent has been embraced by audience’s nation wide. Appreciated for their melodic music and pertinent lyrics, Jetty Road oozes enthusiasm, passion and confidence.

Striking twin sisters, Lee and Paula Bowman are fast becoming renowned for their rich, soulful harmonies. Perfectly complimented by the outstanding talents of multi-instrumentalists Julian Sammut and Simon Ross, Jetty Road is truly an awesome musical outfit.

Released in early 2007, Dirt Roads ~ City Lights is their highly anticipated second album.  Dirt Roads ~ City Lights comprises diverse musicality, with a matured sound of eclectic rhythm, instrumentals and perceptive lyrics, whilst retaining the familiar fun and excitable energy that depicts the true essence of Jetty Road.      
In recognition of their exceptional performance and song-writing ability, Jetty Road received its second consecutive TIARA award nomination at the Tamworth Country Music Festival for ‘Best Country Act’ for 2007. The band also received further nominations for ‘Best Country Act’ & ‘Best New Talent’ at the Victorian & National Country Music Awards.

Living in Melbourne, though originally raised in country Victoria, Jetty Road’s music is a tapestry of pop and country, with a hint of folk. With such an appealing mix the Australian Country Music scene quickly embraced Jetty Road, Deborah Minter (Capital News) declaring Jetty Road, “as good as anything that has come out of the US.”

Word spread quickly about their dynamic live performances with audiences flocking to see their shows at Music Festivals both nationally and internationally. Sought out by James Blundell for tour support throughout 2006, Jetty Road has performed alongside other artists such as Jimmy Barnes and Shannon Noll.

Following the release of their debut album Full Circle, Jetty Road received extensive Australian radio airplay. Singles ‘Run to You’ and ‘Heart and Soul’ quickly rose into the Australian Top 20 Country Charts. Due to overwhelming demand, video clips of the songs were also released. The band also featured live on Channel 7’s Sunrise, and Good Morning Australia with Bert Newton.

Adding to this momentum, Jetty Road’s music featured in a radio showcase in Canada in 2006. ‘Run to You’ successfully secured #1 position on a compilation album released by ABC Records. ‘Heart & Soul’ also appeared on a compilation album through Shock Records in 2006.

With sheer exuberance and endless energy, Jetty Road is bound to continue making an even bigger impression on the Australian and International markets. This unique foursome intends to keep on rolling with this momentous pace.
